This joint ESTP / IFSTP Congress took place in the Congress Center in Basel, Switzerland, from September 16 to 19, 2007. 330 participants attended the key lectures, case presentations, free communications and poster presentations. The main focus of the congress was the Integration of toxicological pathology in risk assessment. Prior to the main ESTP/IFSTP program, a precongress satellite symposium on Application of the human relevance framework to the analysis of rodent tumor data was organized by the International Academy of Toxicologic Pathology (IATP). The congress organization team would like to thank all sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and we are looking forward to another wonderful meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland, 2008. |

- Dr. Elodie Drevon-Gaillot received the ESTP Publication Award 2007 for her publication "A review of background findings in cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) from three different origins".

This was the fourth time that the ESTP conducted a slide seminar by use of digital images. The cases remain available for a few months after the Congress - please have a look.
