European Congress of Toxicologic Pathology 2006
The 4th European Congress of Toxicologic Pathology took place at the Palais des Congrès in La Grande Motte, France, from September 27 to 29, 2006.
More than 200 participants attended the key lectures, case presentations, free communications and poster presentations.
The main focus of the congress were the sensory organs Eye and Ear, including anatomy, pathology and mechanism of toxicity. Prior to the official ESTP program, a satellite meeting on Definition of no adverse effects in toxicologic studies was organized by the International Federation of Societies of Toxicologic Pathologist (IFSTP).
The congress organization team would like to thank all sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and we are looking forward to another wonderful meeting in Basel, Switzerland, 2007.
- Dr. Lars Mecklenburg received the ESTP Publication Award 2006 for his publication "Mesenteritis precedes vasculitis in the rat mesentery after subacute administration of a phosphodiesterase type 4 inhibitor".
