European Society of Toxicologic Pathology (ESTP)
    European Society of Toxicologic Pathology
2014 Thesis Award

The European Society of Toxicologic Pathology (ESTP) offers an award for a thesis in toxicological pathology. Doctoral theses or PhD-theses on any aspect of toxicologic pathology, laboratory animal pathology or experimental pathology will be considered for an award. Applicants have to be enrolled in a European University. Theses have to be written in English or the applicant must be willing to arrange for translation if requested. Submission of the thesis to the University should have been in 2012 or later. Applications for the award will be evaluated by the ESTP award committee. A representative of ESTP will present the award at the annual ESTP congress 2014 to be held in Berlin, from August 27 – August 30. The award is offered every second year.

The best thesis will be honored with 2.000 Euro, the second best by 1.500 Euro and the third best by 1.000 Euro. Furthermore, one year's worth of free membership in the society is offered. With this endowment it is attempted to promote co-operation between Universities and industry and to interest young scientists in toxicological pathology and related fields.

Applications, including three hardcopies of the thesis or, alternatively, three copies of an electronic version on CD-ROM or as a pdf file attached to an email must be submitted to the ESTP award committee.
