Age: 15 weeks
Study type: Toxicity Study with 2 Intravenous administrations at 21-day interval, followed by a 28-day recovery period
Treatment: Cytotoxic agent
Clinical findings: Late mortality of 2 high dose females (one death and one premature kill on day 26-Cycle 2).
Clinical signs: poor clinical status for a few days preceding death / premature kill with general pallor, decreased motor activity, prostration, pilo-erection, blepharoptosis (total or partial) and dyspnea.
Organ(s): Lung
Gross finding(s): Enlarged lungs with oedema and dark red discolouration or foci
Staining: H&E and modified Martius Scarlet Blue
