Clinical findings: Clinical findings
· 4 animals (out of 10 at 6.0 mg/kg/day) died during the study
· In high dose group: piloerrection, hunched posture, emaciation, hyperactivity and/or somnolence
· decreased food consumption and body weights in all treated groups
Hematology:
· shortened activated partial thromboplastin
· increased haemoglobin, MCH, MCV
· decreased reticulocyte counts (absolute, relative) along with increased HFR
· dedreased WBC, lymphocytes, segmented neutrophils
Clinical Biochemistry:
· increased glucose and urea, creatinine, trigylcerides, LDH, ?-GT, sodium and chloride
· decreased AP, albumin, total protein, and globulin
Urinalysis:
· at 6 mg/kg/day: decreased specific gravity along with increased pH in males
· general: decreased osmolality

· decreased absolute/relative weight of thymus and spleen
Macroscopic Lesions:
· emaciation
· reduced size of thymus and lymph nodes
· reduced size of testes and prostate· enlarged kidneys
