European Society of Toxicologic Pathology

The 7th European Congress of Toxicologic Pathology took place at the Kurhaus Hotel in The Hague, The Netherlands, from September 15 to 18, 2009. More than 190 participants attended the key lectures, case presentations, free communications and poster presentations.

The main focus of the congress was Drug induced toxicologic pathology – examples & methods used. Prior to the main ESTP program, a precongress satellite symposium on Systems pathology: whole animal responses to toxicity was organized by the International Academy of Toxicologic Pathology (IATP).

The congress organization team would like to thank all sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and we are looking forward to another wonderful meeting in Budapest, Hungary, 2010.

Case descriptions and digital slides from the slide seminar:
This was the sixth time that the ESTP conducted a slide seminar by use of digital images. The cases remain available for a few months after the Congress - please have a look.

ESTP CD-ROM "Classic Examples in Toxicologic Pathology", 3rd Edition 2009:
This CD-ROM presents the essence of a series of seminars in toxicologic pathology held annually since 1994 at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, under the auspices of the ESTP. The third edition contains 87 contributions and was released during the Congress. Use the link above for more information and ordering of the CD-ROM.
